Tenby’s experience spans the private business sector, government entities, the military, and charitable/not-for-profit organisations.

He was educated at the University of Waikato, New Zealand, gaining a Master of Management Studies in International Business with First Class Honours, and was awarded Distinguished Alumnus in 2010. He also attended Harvard Business School and was educated in the New Zealand Defence Force where he holds the rank of Colonel in the Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment.

Tenby has held senior management positions in leading New Zealand corporations, Fletcher Challenge and Skellerup Group, prior to forming private investment company, Hunter Powell Investments Limited in 1999.

His mix of commercial, military, government, and not-for-profit experience has created a rich and deep cross-sector knowledge base enabling an ability to work effectively with diverse cultural and socio-economic groups domestically and internationally.

Sharon is one of New Zealand’s best-known and respected business women. At the age of 22, she co-founded PC Direct which quickly became New Zealand’s largest and most successful homegrown personal computer company. 

Sharon has extensive entrepreneurial and business experience comprising: high growth companies, M & A, private equity partnerships, banking and finance in leveraged environments. 

Sharon has acted as a judge in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and the Verve Cliquot Business Women of the Year.

In terms of Directorships, Sharon is Deputy Chair of the Starship Foundation, Director of Penberthy Insurance Brokers and a Trustee of Kiwi K.A.R.E.

She has previously served on the Advisory Board for Rugby World Cup 2011 (tasked with overseeing strategy, risk management and driving legacy & leverage outcomes), Investment Advisory Board Member on the Primary Growth Partnership (a government-industry initiative that invests in significant research and innovation programmes to boost the economic growth and sustainability of New Zealand’s primary, forestry and food sectors), and Chair of the Robin Hood Foundation.

Brent qualified with a LLB from the University of Auckland and has an illustrious career spanning the media industry, professional sports and business.  

His professional roles include a 10-year term serving as CEO and Director of a leading New Zealand media company, specialising in radio, outdoor advertising and interactive media, Director of Radio New Zealand, and Chair of Thompson Spencer.

In terms of International sport’s leadership, Brent has served as Chairman of New Zealand Rugby and a Director of NZRFU for some years prior.  

Brent currently holds several Chair and Directorships including Director of Devon Funds Management, Chair of Pacific Cooperation Broadcasting, Chair of Fiji Drua Rugby and Trustee of Kiwi K.A.R.E.

Sir Graham Henry (affectionately known by many New Zealanders as Ted) is one of New Zealand’s most successful All Blacks coaches, with an 85.4 per cent winning record, including winning the 2011 Rugby World Cup. In 2012 he received Knight Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to rugby. 

Sir Graham started coaching rugby professionally in 1997 after 25 years as a Secondary School Teacher resigning from his position as Principal of Kelston Boys High School (1987-96)

Sir Graham is currently involved in a number of charities. He with wife Raewyn are Patrons of Cure Kids. He is also Patron of the New Zealand Rugby Foundation, the Auckland University Club, The Rugby for Life Charity, Under 85Kg NZR and an Ambassador for Variety Club. He regularly speaks internationally focusing on team building, culture, leadership development and learning from adversity.

He is a Director of his own Leadership Development Company - Sixty Five Plus, shareholder in the successful timber supply company Anga’ofa Timber based in Tonga; Patron of Te Korowai o Waiheke - Predator Free Waiheke, Shareholder of the very successful rugby coaching website The Rugby Site. He is an Ambassador for Kiwis for Kiwi (our native bird and after whom New Zealanders are colloquially named); a Life Member of both Auckland and New Zealand Rugby, and a Trustee of Kiwi K.A.R.E. 

Paul retired 4 years ago from his role as CEO of Bauer Media Australia & New Zealand, returning to Waiheke Island to enjoy the delights of Island life.

Working in media for most of his career, much of it in Australia, Paul worked for the Packer Family and also for private equity. He has had a lifetime of media involvement in Australia and also working internationally in many countries.

Managing a large diverse media company over the past 20 years has provided almost every challenge you would want to experience.

Paul remains passionate about the media and where media and communication is going.

David is an American expat located in Warsaw, Poland.  

He was educated in International Relations from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.  

David took his first posting abroad in 1996 as a volunteer teacher trainer through the Harvard Institute of International Development in rural Poland.

David has had a stellar career as a senior executive in major network advertising agencies including DDB, Ogilvy, Lowe, TBWA and Leo Burnett.  In that 20 years he worked in Poland, Czech Republic, Serbia and South Korea in senior roles. 

Currently, David is an executive and shareholder of Raen S.A., a publicly traded renewable energy company bridging the financing gap for decarbonisation in Poland.  He works primarily in attracting international investors to invest in solar, wind, biogas and green methanol in Poland and represents the companies efforts to enter the biogas market in the United States and elsewhere.

David has vast experience across Central and Eastern Europe and has been deeply engaged in Ukraine since attending the Orange Revolution in Kyiv in 2004.  Following the full scale invasion, David hosted over 70 refugees in his apartments in Poland and ran many initiatives into Ukraine to help with the war and humanitarian crisis.  David has vast experience in leadership, team building, planning and organisation and executive management. He is fluent in Polish and has a basic conversational level of Ukrainian.

Richie has spent over 12 years volunteering around the world, in many theatres, including; conflict, disaster relief, emergency, health clinics, shelter and reconstruction.

Professionally, Richie works in the field of mental health in Australia. Previously, he has worked in financial services as a stockbroker and has a strong background in logistics and management. 

This is Richie’s third winter in Ukraine, where he has delivered hundreds of tonnes of aid to newly liberated villages and evacuated scores of people from frontline villages and towns in the east and south. 

Richie met Tenby on his first tour in 2022, immediately rekindling the ANZAC spirt, and his last two tours have proudly been with Kiwi K.A.R.E. 

Oleg was the owner of an event management company involved in organising movies, television commercial, and major events, across Ukraine before the war.  

With extensive organisational experience, he left his business at the onset of the war to fully dedicate himself to assisting the military, civilians, animals and anyone in need. He used all his skills to establish the Foundation’s operations. 

Alex was a senior executive in a real estate company before the war. When the war began, he left his profession to co-found Day-By-Day Foundation and focus entirely on the charity's work. 

Alex has a depth of experience in planning and managing humanitarian mission frontline areas, Red Zones, and any locations where people are in need. 

Sasha previously ran a logistics company. With the start of the war, he also left his commercial activities to fully commit himself to the foundation. 

Sasha’s prime role is fleet management, ensuring all our vehicles, including the ambulances, are maintained in good order given the demands placed on all vehicles. 

Maryna was educated at Kryvyi Rih National University and is the host of the Ukraine Television, Green Mobility news programme. 

She has over five experience working in government agencies on the development of electromobility in Ukraine, promoting the use of electric cars and the need for continued development of charging infrastructure. She is currently appointed to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Maryna is an active blogger and influencer, using her network to raise funds for humanity and medical aid, and continue awareness about the forgotten war. 

She has been an active volunteer since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, travelling with Kiwi K.A.R.E and Day-by Day Foundation on humanitarian missions to Red Zones in the east and south of the country.
